About the Author
Prince Bim is, first and foremost, a lover of God—a man committed to aligning his life with the voice and heart of the Father. The name ‘Prince Bim’ flows from a personal revelation rooted in John 1:12: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the sons of God.” If God is a King, then His sons are princes. For him, this is not a title of status, but a declaration of identity—one he is passionate about helping others rediscover in their own lives.
His journey into this identity was profoundly shaped by a life-altering experience. A violent accident—one that could have ended his life—became a defining turning point. In the fragile space between life and death, he encountered the mercy, urgency, and nearness of God in a way that permanently reshaped his priorities. That moment awakened a deep conviction: every heartbeat is a gift, every moment carries intention, and every life holds divine purpose.
Born in Nigeria, Prince Bim (Abimbola Oyekanmi) was formed early by stories of perseverance and a strong awareness of God’s presence. He later trained in the United Kingdom as a marine engineering specialist and went on to build a distinguished career spanning decades in the global oil and gas sector. His professional experience includes extensive work with liquefied natural gas (LNG), methanol, and complex maritime operations across multiple continents. His engineering background cultivated discipline, precision, and a global perspective, while reinforcing his appreciation for God’s order and wisdom in both the natural and technical worlds.
Prince Bim is joyfully married to Dr. Olaide Oyekanmi, and together they are blessed with two sons, David and Zion. His family remains one of his greatest sources of inspiration and a constant reminder of God’s faithfulness.
Today, his calling is clear: to guide young people and adults into discovering who they truly are in God, to bring clarity to questions of identity and purpose, and to lead others toward the fullness of life God designed.
